Mama Put Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 October 2026 · Mama Put is made and operated by Water Rabbit Labs.
The short version
You never need to give us your name, email or phone number to play. Adding an email is optional and only used to back up your progress. We keep the minimum needed to save your progress, run the leaderboards and make the game better. We don’t sell your data and we don’t show ads.
What we collect
- An anonymous player ID, created automatically the first time you play, so your progress can be saved and moved to a new phone.
- Your game progress: levels, stars, scores, boosters, Gold Spoons, outfits and settings.
- Your email address, only if you add one in Settings to back up your progress or log in on another phone. We use it to send you a sign-in or confirmation link and nothing else: no newsletters, no marketing, never shared.
- Your chef name, if you choose one. It is shown on leaderboards, so don’t use your real full name if you’d rather not.
- Friends in the game, if you add any: who is on your friends list, Buka visits, free gifts and thank-yous between friends. Messages between friends are chosen from a fixed list in the game (for example “Thank you o! 🙏”); nobody can type their own text, so no personal details can be sent. Your chef name, Buka name, stage, Fame, level and Buka upgrades can also be shown to other players in Discover, so they can visit your Buka; you can turn this off in Settings (“Show my Buka in Discover”). Nobody becomes your friend without your yes: other players send a friend request, which you can accept or decline. You can also block a player; they then can’t visit you, send you gifts or thank-yous, or see your Buka in Discover. Your friends can see your chef name, Buka name, stage and Fame. Anyone who knows your chef name or invite code can add you as a friend; you can remove a friend at any time.
- Gameplay events, such as starting, winning or leaving a level and using a booster. These help us find levels that are too hard or too easy. They contain no personal information.
- Mama Put Cup, if you join: when you joined, who invited you, whether you play in the app or a browser, the days you won levels and your Cup Points. Your chef name and Cup Points appear on the cup board. Feedback you send from the cup goes to Water Rabbit Labs and is used only to improve the game.
- Cup prize details, only if you win: the name on your bank or OPay account, the account number and your phone number. Only Water Rabbit Labs can see these, we use them only to pay your prize, and we delete them after paying.
- Your time zone and language (from your phone’s settings, not GPS), app or website, and screen size. These help us understand where people play, in totals only.
- Your phone’s browser type, memory size and network type (for example “Android 10, Chrome, 3G”), and how long the game took to load. These help us make the game faster on slower phones and networks, and tell real players apart from automated test robots.
- A random device code made by the game (not your phone’s ID or advertising ID). It is used only to stop one person counting their own extra accounts as invited friends for the Mama Put Cup.
- Views and taps on sponsor cards inside the game, counted in totals so we can tell sponsors how many players saw them. Sponsors never receive any information about you.
- Purchases: in the store apps, payments are handled by Google Play or the App Store. We receive confirmation of what was bought, never your card or bank details.
What we don’t collect
No contacts, photos, GPS location, microphone, advertising ID, or browsing history. There are no ad networks or advertising trackers in the game. The game works offline; your progress is stored on your device and synced to our server when you’re online.
Where it’s stored
Game data is stored with our hosting provider, Supabase, and protected by access rules so players can only change their own data. Our servers are in the European Union (Ireland).
How long we keep it
For as long as you play. Gameplay events are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted or made fully anonymous.
Your choices
- Delete everything: in the game, open Settings → “Delete my account and data”. This removes your progress, scores and player ID from your phone and our server immediately.
- Change your chef name any time in Settings.
Delete your account and data
You can delete your Mama Put account and all its data at any time:
- In the game: open Settings → “Delete my account and data”. Everything is removed straight away.
- If you no longer have the game installed: email info@waterrabbittoken.com with the subject “Delete my Mama Put data”, from the email address you added to the game (or tell us your chef name). We delete your account within 7 days and confirm by email.
What is deleted: your player ID, email address, chef name, progress, scores, leaderboard entries, friends list, visits, gifts and thank-yous. Anonymous gameplay statistics that can no longer be linked to you may be kept for up to 24 months. Purchase records may be kept where the law requires it.
Children
Mama Put is a family-friendly game made for players aged 13 and over. Players can enjoy it fully without giving any personal information; the optional email backup is meant for adults and older teens with a parent’s permission, and Mama Put Cup cash prizes are only for players aged 18 and over. Purchases in the store apps are protected by Google Play and App Store parental controls.
